This chandelier with Parabola hanging lamps was made using the Tiffany technique. However, the glass has been heated and curved in the oven. This way, a stunning, flowing shape was created!
Expressionistic, curved lines, sharp angles and exuberant, decorative elements: these are just some features of the Amsterdam School style. The unique Tiffany glass lampshade was based on this innovative art movement that manifested itself between 1910-1940. The Amsterdam School is also seen as the Dutch variety of Art Deco. The parabola is a common shape within the Amsterdam School style and that is why it was chosen to be the focal point of this design. The uncommon shape turns the lamp into a true eye-catcher with warm shades of nacre, cream and brown (with a touch of deep purple) as a charming combination. Also available as a wall lamp, complete hanging lamp and table lamp.
The different heights on which the glass caps are attached make the design playful and stylish. Nice for in halls, staircases etc. Also above the coffee table and dining table!
The two glass shades are assembled to Vintage linen cords. The cords are in turn attached to a round ceiling plate.
Linen cord: 1,5m. + E23 fitting.
